We arrived for our appointment and from the moment we entered we felt at home. Alison and Julie were so welcoming and obviously love what they do. We were given a guided tour around first and then asked to all have a look at dresses we liked. Dad was included and we all were amazed at the range and the wise words of advice Alison and Julie had as we made our selections. I thought it was particularly good that Dad was encouraged to be part of it.
Parents were then sat comfortably as the girls went behind the curtain for the first dress, sniffing was heard and the reveal was dramatic.
The girls encouraged Amy to try on some designs she was unsure about, showed how strapless gowns could be altered showed suitable veils and unsuitable veils and throughout the process demonstrated not only their vast knowledge but also care for the bride to be.
It was a truly magical experience for all three of us and Amy made her choice with no doubt in anyone's mind.
Amy has a medical condition which causes her tummy to swell but Julie and Alison were so understanding and knew just how to handle the situation with compassion and we all enjoyed a few laughs during the morning.
This was undoubtedly one of the best shopping experiences we have all had.
I am Mother of the Bride but would love to get married again after visiting this shop, to the same man I hasten to add! I know they would make me look the best I could and feel great too.
Without doubt anyone shopping here could be guaranteed a wonderful experience and the board with all the Thank You cards and photos bear witness to that.
Amy left the shop glowing which was lovely for us all to see and the girls have arranged to let her see herself in full regalia before the wedding as she lives 300 miles away and due to illness cannot easily travel up and down. I know we will need the tissues again.
The additional service they offer is beyond measure.
They are worthy of this award.
